What is generative engine optimization?

Someone asks ChatGPT, Google's AI, Perplexity, or Copilot who to call for your service in your town. The answer names three to five businesses. GEO is the work of making the facts an engine can find about you accurate, complete, and consistent, so you are in the set it can name. Google's own guidance says its AI features run on the same ranking systems as regular search, so GEO is not a separate trick. It is careful SEO with a new place to check the result.

Is GEO different from SEO?

Not according to Google. Its May 2026 guide says optimizing for AI features in Search is optimizing for Search. We use the word GEO because owners use it. We do not sell it as a second service.

Will you promise me the top spot?

No. Google publishes that meeting every requirement does not guarantee crawling, indexing, or serving, and there is no "rank" inside an AI answer to promise. We describe the work, do it, and report what we measured.

Who owns everything if I stop paying?

You do. On a Full Rebuild, the domain, hosting, site files, Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics, and every lead are in your name from day one. On a Tune-Up, we work inside your existing accounts as a manager. Stop paying and nothing needs to be handed back.

Do you work outside Florida?

Yes. We are in Bradenton, Florida, meet clients in person along the Gulf Coast, and work remotely nationwide.

What does the GEO Snapshot include?

A written audit of your site, your Google Business Profile, and your listings, plus a recorded check of which businesses AI names for your services today. $500, credited in full toward any package bought within 30 days. Details.

Why is the Snapshot credited back?

Because it is the first step of every job anyway. If you hire us for anything within 30 days, you paid nothing extra for the audit. If you take the report to someone else, you paid $500 for a plan you can hand them.

Can I buy a monthly plan without a Tune-Up or Rebuild?

No. We do not maintain a site we have not audited and corrected. The plans start after the one-time work.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. The one-time packages are quoted in writing and paid per the quote. The monthly plans cancel any month with 30 days notice by email.

Will you write an llms.txt file for me?

We keep one on our own site because it costs nothing. We do not charge for one, because Google has published that its Search and AI features do not use it. If another proposal lists it as a deliverable, ask them for Google's source.

Do you use AI to write my pages?

We use it the way we use a spell-checker: for outlines, research, and first drafts a person then rewrites. Nothing ships unedited. Google's rule is about the output, not the tool, and its spam policy names bulk-generated pages as a violation. Every page you get is written for the person who would call you, and reviewed by you.

Will you build me a page for every city near me?

No. A page for each town with nothing on it but the town name swapped in is what Google calls scaled content abuse, and it is your domain that carries the penalty. A location page gets built when there is something real to say about that location.

Can you fix my site without moving it?

Usually, and that is the Tune-Up. The exceptions are platforms that do not let anyone set a title, a redirect, or a canonical, or that the vendor owns outright. The Snapshot tells you which you have before you spend anything.

What happens to my email when you move the site?

Nothing. Your email records live in the same DNS zone as the site, and we change only the records that point at the site. We check mail before and after and write down both.

How do you measure AI visibility?

Two ways. Google Search Console has a Generative AI performance report showing how often your pages appeared in AI Overviews and AI Mode; it shows impressions only, no clicks and no queries, so we tell you that up front. Bing Webmaster Tools shows Copilot citations. We also record, by hand and by date, which businesses each assistant names for your services, which is what the Snapshot baseline is.

Can you run my Google Ads?

On request, quoted separately. We will tell you plainly if we think ads are a waste for your trade. Ads stop the day you stop paying for them; the work on the site keeps earning.

How does the referral rebate work?

Refer an owner who signs, and 15% of their job comes off your bill, up to half of what you paid. Terms.
